- Members receive Pegasus, the official KSPS poetry journal, consisting of Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter issues, plus a Prize Poems Issue
in which all first place poems from the annual contest appear.
- Four times each year, members receive the KSPS Newsletter containing information on coming events, workshops, opportunities to place

- Members also receive Strophes, the newsletter of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, keeping members up-to-date on
poetry happenings across the nation, including national conventions, contests and poetry/writing markets.
- KSPS members are provided the opportunity to post their publications/services on the KSPS website and/or in the KSPS quarterly
newsletter.
- The KSPS annual poetry contest is open to all and has over 30 categories; however, KSPS members are granted discounted entry fees
for the contest.
