Join us to support Kentucky poetry.
Membership in the Society is not limited to Kentuckians! Our members come from all over the United States, Canada, and beyond, and have many vocations and lifestyles. Several KSPS members have published poetry in some of the nation’s finest publications and have books to their credit. Other members have yet to be published or are simply readers of poetry–it matters not to us. Our common bond is an appreciation for poetry. If you share this interest, you are invited to join us.
Benefits
Through KSPS, members have the opportunity to associate with fellow writers, develop lifelong friendships, exchange ideas, and learn from each other and from professional writers. KSPS members sharpen their writing skills and gain a deeper appreciate of the art of poetry at events, workshops, readings, and meetings throughout the state. Members also receive discounts on select KSPS events and contests and exclusive opportunities to read their poetry in our KSPS Reading Series.

Adults $35 / year
Students $15 / year
Membership fees are due January 1 each year.
New memberships in the last quarter of the year roll over into the new year.
